The Stiles Wedding : Jessica & Wes : The Robin's Nest North Carolina

Jessica & Wes tied the know on May 4th at The GORGEOUS Robins Nest in Grimesland North Carolina.
You all know my absolute love for small intimate weddings and this one did not disappoint. And of course my absolute insane love for the Robins Nest and the amazing family who runs it. It is by far my favorite venue to be a part of an event at ! Jessica & Wes married one another with their 5 children by their sides, welcoming them as a new family. It was a beautiful day from the weather to the immense love throughout, everything was perfect.

The two love birds met at work, when one forgot their lunch and the other brought them a burger and fries. The Burger and Fries reference was used in their wedding ceremony and really stuck with me. The officiant spoke of how a true act of thoughtfulness and kindness had brought them to this moment. Before even knowing one another they had cared for one another. It was beautiful.

I am so happy for these two and their family and am so excited to share their beautiful day with you!

Anna & Christian : Jefferson North Carolina : Mountain view & Flower field Engagement Session

These two adorable little love birds gave me the pleasure of photographing them in an adorable field of floweres and mountain views. Full of laughter jokes, and a few trips from me being super excited about a shot or something super cute they were doing and then the results were some gorgeous photos.

Heres what Anna had to say about their love and their sesh with me!
“Christian and I fell in love hard and fast. From the moment that we met, we knew that we’d be in each other’s lives forever. My partner. My best friend. My soulmate. My lover. My protector. He has always done his best to give me everything that I could ever need, and I wouldn’t give up our future together for the world. We’re always looking for ways to spice up our relationship, and doing a portrait session with Brii was just amazing for us! We were a little nervous to be so intimate in front of someone else, but Brii is fun to be around and makes you feel super comfortable. We started our session and she helped us just fall into our natural intimacy, and for a few moments, we honestly forgot that she was there. The session was a bonding experience for us, and we came out of it with some super sexy pictures that we will adore for the rest of our lives. We will definitely be working with Brii in the future.”

Jacob & Katie : The Virginia Distillery Co. Engagement Session

When jake and Katie called me and told me their epic ideas for their session I was completely on board and so so so excited. Though these epic plans took place almost 5 hours away. From everything going wrong that day, forgetting my purse , running out gas the thing that went completely right was this session. These two came and saved me and then on top of it all bought be a hard one. Cause gosh did I need a drink after my morning !

But once we started shooting everything was absolute perfection. The distillery was the perfect bad ass spot for these two and they rocked it in a full suit and gown. Looking absolutely mesmerizing and the looks made for epic one of a kind high class engagement photos. I encourage dressing up to my clients but these two went above and beyond and nailed it.

the Virginia Distillery Company was completely accomadatong and gorgeous. The views and ground were beautiful on this fall day and the tour was wonderful. We then moved on to the Bold Rock brewery where we photographed a more lax casual and fun look on the river. The whole day was filled with funny jokes laughter and fun and I cannot wait for their wedding day and to see these two perfect people we’d. I am so happy they chose me to be a part of their day and to be able to get to know such a great couple who has so much fun is the best part of it all.

Celebrating Earth Day in the Mountains of North Carolina

As all my friends know. I am crazy about being eco, I don't use straws we use reusable bags, we recycle everything we can and reuse as much as possible.

I also push all my friends and family to do so too! I mean I want my son to have a planet to grow up on that isn't completely destroyed by our carelessness and until more people jump on board with realizing we NEED to take strides to change and fix what we have done our children and their children will be the ones who ultimately suffer from our actions!

So I challenge all of you, to change! Make one change, refuse the straw, bring your own tupperware to dinner out. Use reusable bags instead of plastic or Ask for paper! RECYCLE at home! Its not hard and makes such an impact!

Corey & Kim become the Everett's! Pactolus Baptist Intimate Church Wedding

Corey & Kimberly met in highschool one Cold January day in the lunch room and their lives changed from that moment on. These two have been inseperable ever since I remember taking Kim's senior photographs and hearing her talk about him & just knowing that these two were going to last. I'd be photographing their wedding in no time.
Well it took a little time but, 2 careers and a place of their own later they have done it. And to top it all off it was everything they imagined it would be. The focus of everything was their love. Nothing else. Every little detail was a nod to their love story.

Pactolus Baptist Church was Kim's childhood church and had a huge emotional meaning to both her and Corey so tying the knot there just seemed perfect. &it was, the tiny quaint Church was the perfect setting for their intimate emotion filled day.

The flowers and Decor were done by the Bride's Mother & Fling of Flair Florist Carol Mills
The Catering was done by the amazing GK Catering.
The Venue was the Beautiful and intimate Pactolus Baptist Church
The Brides Dress was found at David's Bridal & altered by Ava's in Washington
The Cake was made & decorated by the wonderful Terry Mills with Tasty & Sweet
